GREAT HOTEL "From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated as valued guests even though we were only going to stay one night. We were very pleased with our room which had two queen size, very comfortable beds. We had a patio from which we had a lovely view of some of the red rocks of Sedona. The outdoor, heated, swimming pool was great and in a lovely setting in the courtyard which was very beautifully landscaped. The free breakfast was very extensive and delicious. We were so glad we had not stayed at the first hotel and had ended up at the Kings Ransom. Also, the hotel was very reasonable, compared to others in Sedona. We paid $130.00, all taxes included."

WE LOVED IT! "We just returned from Sedona and loved everything about it including the King's Ransom hotel! The staff was friendly and the room clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the courtyard and red rock vistas (and sunset) beyond. We were a little skeptical after reading some of the mixed reviews, but found nothing to complain about at all. The pool was cool but not freezing cold, and the hot tub was perfect! We even stayed in one night to relax and had a pizza from Moondog's delivered. The coffee bar was good too. Don't know about the restaurant because it was closed while we were there."

GREAT DEAL! "Great hotel and great location. Service was good- the pool and spa area are really nice. Free continental buffet breakfast was quite good considering it WAS FREE!
Price is incredible. Would stay there again."

WORTH THE RANSOM! "The property is clean as a pin and has a lush interior courtyard and heated pool/spa. From it's exterior, you wouldn't think much about the hotel, but this interior oasis is a true pleasure.

The morning breakfast is included and is a nice touch. Views of the courtyard area are available here. We did not try the restaurant, but we heard that it was excellent.

The rooms are FANTASTIC for families. They have a suite setup with a trundle bed. We asked for a got a roll out so we could accomodate our 3 children. They had their own room and own TV. Most importantly, WE had OUR own room with a king bed and HUGE bathroom. The shower had a phenomenal sprayer (Groe) and plenty of hot water to spare.

At the main office, they have a PC with free internet access. The front desk was well kept, and the personel were friendly.

GREAT FOR FAMILIES!!! For Sedona, I don't think you can beat the deal. It's close to the action. Pink Jeep tours will pick you up at the property for the Broken Arrow tour (which I highly recommend). OVERALL, a great experience!"

ATTENTION DOG LOVERS "We stayed for 2 nights in a pet friendly room with our miniature poodles, Barney & Woody. It was on the 1st floor, across from the doggy park. The room was quite spacious, had a gorgeous view, comfortable bed and good quality bedding. The mini fridge was handy and the sink area of the bathroom was fine, as were the Bath & Body Works toiletries...

The hiking trail just up the road, Margs Draw, was a good one, steep at first, but then good views and gentle inclines, declines. We'll be back."

BEST LODGING VALUE - SEDONA AZ "Just got back from a trip to Sedona, AZ, stayed at the Kings Ransom what a great place! Room was spacious, newly remodeled and had everything we needed for a family with a couple of young kids.

Service was was exceptional, pool was very nice, continental breakfast was a cut above the ordinary breakfast trough fare. Requests for towels or information were handled quickly and courteously.

All this for what we considered a great value in a an otherwise pricey Sedona. We liked the fact that it was a bit off the beaten path in Sedona as well, very quiet, access to a nice hiking trail behind the facility. If you're going to Sedona you have to check this place out."
